Reminiscence Airways (Poem 33 of 99)

I want to fly to a world where butterflies announce noon

Floating by like bubbles on an ocean of warmly moist air

A world where the doorstoppers of blue skies are held in place

Allowing hope to enter through into the hallways of imagination,

faith and ambition

A world where the clock on the wall has no significance

And goodwill is passed around as effortlessly as kids kicking footballs in parks

A world where the fragrance of freshly cut grass sings its sweetness

up noses and converts kind words that come out of mouths

spoken with the coolness of evening shade…

I want to fly to a world of simplicity;

A world called Childhood Summer.
